COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES – new cartridges, often manufactured in China, which contain a chip. Compatible cartridges are those that are not manufactured by the original manufacturer of a printer (OEM cartridges include brands such as Canon, Epson and HP), but which will perform in much the same way as the OEM product. Compatible cartridges are popular for their high quality, usually at lower cost than OEM cartridges.
RE-MANUFACTURED CARTRIDGES (ISO 9000 Certified) – purchased from two domestic manufacturers who replace both the ink and the chip, for greater reliability.
*ISO 9000 Certified – the International Organization of Standards, established in 1947, provides guidance and tools for companies to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.
